Brazil is very, very strong, having a manpower pool comparable to Italy and an industry almost as strong as Poland's or Czechoslovakia, with none of the threats they face and plenty of easy expansion opportunities. Spain is the only good one you put out there pretty much. Greece is a ok country since it is mountanous but still lacks man power and it dies by the Italians early on so forget defending yourself.Ĭzechoslovakia won't be able to live past 38 since they get eaten by germany and hungary. You forgot about Pax Americana so you can't expand and all you can do is build an industry. you are comparing these countries to each other but you forget they cannot expand due to other nations. Spain also has a decent population and strong industry, but is a bit crippled by the civil war (although with exploits you can make it very easy or even avoid it entirely). Greece still has the generic focus tree in WoT, but they also have a nice, strong industry and starting army, with the ability to form mega Byzantium. China pre WoT is in a similar situation, the only difference is that they have japan breathing down their neck in exchange for 10x more manpower than Brazil. Not really sure what your problem is here, if they made the generic trees weaker some countries would be impossible and some still virutally are.

I mean, you say that, but just about every country with a generic focus tree (especially in Europe) doesn't have the manpower or industrial base that any of the countries with focus trees have.
